Preschool children take part in "A Day as a Soldier" extracurricular programme
Muong Sang Kindergarten in Moc Chau district on December 20 coordinated with the district Military Command to organize an extracurricular programme entitled "A Day as a Soldier" for children in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 – 2024) and the 35th Anniversary of the All-People's Defence Festival (December 22, 1989 – 2024).
As many as 95 five-year-old students participated in various activities such as attending a flag raising ceremony, singing the national anthem, joining a military parade, performing songs and dances featuring "Uncle Ho's Soldiers," and engaging in STEAM activities to create soldier-themed products using natural materials.
Through this extracurricular programme, children expressed their affection for the soldiers. At the same time, it helped innovate teaching methods, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere while connecting children with the community.
Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh on January 20 led a working delegation of the province to visit and present gifts to several policy beneficiary families and people who rendered service to the nation in Son La city.
