Provincial inclusive education support centre upgraded

The People's Committee of To Hieu ward in Son La city, in coordination with the provincial Inclusive Education Support Centre, inaugurated a centre upgrade project on May 19 to mark the upcoming Party congresses for the 2025–2030 term.

Attending the ceremony were Ha Trung Chien, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Son La city Party Committee, and Chairman of the city People’s Council; along with officials from the Department of Education and Training, the city People’s Committee, and To Hieu ward authorities.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the asphalt paving project at the centre.

The yard upgrade project at the centre has a total investment of 800 million VND (30,800 USD) sourced from the city’s budget. The work included paving 1,200 square metres of the schoolyard with asphalt, tiling the front yard of the classroom building, resurfacing hallway floors, and renovating the steps and stage area. The project was completed on schedule, meeting quality and safety standards, and is now ready to serve the learning and recreational activities of students and teachers here.

Centre leaders present flowers to collectives that have made significant contributions to the centre’s development. 

The project carries profound humane significance, reflecting the city authorities’ commitment to ensuring the right to education for children with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, contributing to the realisation of global learning city criteria.
