Provincial leaders hold Lunar New Year meeting with officials, public servants of advisory agencies

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the committee Lo Minh Hung, and members of its Standing Board on February 3 held a Lunar New Year meeting with officials and public servants of the committee’s advisory and support agencies.

At the meeting, Khanh provided a brief update on notable results in the fields of politics, economy, culture, society, national defence, and security in the province in 2024, and outlined key tasks for 2025.

He emphasised that 2025 is a year of special significance, marking important national events. It is also the final year to implement the goals and tasks set in the Resolution of the 15th provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. In the year, all-level Party congresses for the 2025-2030 tenure will be held, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Khanh expressed his hope that the advisory and support agencies will enhance their sense of responsibility, effectively carry out their assigned tasks, and provide strong support to the provincial Party Committee and its Standing Board. He urged them to immediately engage in their work and successfully complete the tasks set forth.

He noted confidence that the entire Party organisation, adminstration, army, and people of ethnic groups will uphold the revolutionary tradition, the spirit of self-reliance, and solidarity.

The provincial leader also voiced his hope for strengthened leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party organisations and officials in order to build Son La into a green, fast-growing, and sustainable province while successfully implementing the resolutions set by all-level Party congresses.
