Provincial leaders offer incense to King Le Thai Tong, President Ho Chi Minh, martyrs

Provincial leaders on February 13 offered incense at King Le Thai Tong Temple, President Ho Chi Minh Temple and the Memorial House for the Martyrs of Son La Prison, and paid tribute to martyrs at Son La Prison Martyrs’ Cemetery on the occasion of the Party’s 96th founding anniversary and the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026.

They included Hoang Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; among others.

At King Le Thai Tong Temple, the provincial leaders offered incense in remembrance of the King, who made significant contributions to unifying the country as well as building and safeguarding the nation. They expressed their respect and wished for a peaceful and prosperous new year. Officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups in Son La pledged to continue upholding the heroic traditions of their forebears and to build their homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous and civilised.

The delegation then offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh Temple, expressing profound respect and boundless gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions to the struggle for national liberation in Vietnam and around the world.
