Provincial official extends Tet wishes to health staff

Trang Thi Xuan, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee, paid a pre-Tet visit to the provincial Department of Health on January 14.

At the meeting, the department’s leader reported Xuan on the results of health care work in 2024 and tasks before, during and after the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025.

For the tasks before, during and after the Tet festival, the department assigned leaders and staff on duty around-the-clock in accordance with regulations, and directed local medical facilities to work all day round, and prepare adequate medicine and medical supplies, arrange hospital beds and vehicles, and be ready to respond to and serve treatment and emergency care.

Speaking at the meeting, Xuan requested the Department of Health, the sector’s Trade Union and affiliated medical units to take good care of the material and spiritual lives of the anti-epidemic force and medical staff; provide support for those living in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses during Tet; ensure sufficient personnel on duty on the holiday; and visit patients staying in the hospital on this occasion.
