The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee holds a working session with Muong Leo commune.

Accompanying him were Colonel Chu Van Thanh, Commander of the provincial Military Command; Nguyen Minh Tien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and representatives of the Department of Construction.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee inspects the site designated for the construction of the primary–secondary boarding school in Muong Leo commune.

In Muong Leo, the communal People’s Committee has set up a compensation, support, and resettlement council, along with a working group to assist it, for the project to build the primary–secondary boarding school in Na Bua area, Lieng hamlet. So far, land measurement and land origin verification within the planned project site have been completed, with assets on the land of all 14 affected households recorded, as well as land for the school access road involving three households.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Secretary visits the site planned for the construction of the primary–secondary boarding school in Sop Cop commune.

In Sop Cop, following feedback from the Department of Construction, the commune People’s Committee approved partial adjustments to the planning and publicly announced them as required. At the same time, it has been encouraging households with land in the planned project area to cooperate in the inventory of land, assets, crops, and livestock. To date, assets on about 80% of the project site have been inventoried and valued.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee reviews preparations for the construction of the primary–secondary boarding school in Muong Lan commune.

In Muong Lan, the planned site for the primary–secondary boarding school is located in Huoi Ta area, Muong Lan hamlet, about 1.2 km from the commune’s administrative centre. The location is near a road, the power grid and residential areas, with relatively favourable terrain. To date, the communal People’s Committee, in coordination with the provincial Land Development Centre, has completed land measurement and the inventory of trees, crops, and assets on the designated school site.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee presents a gift to Muong Leo commune.

Following the field inspection, the provincial Party leader asked the communes to continue working closely with provincial departments and agencies to complete investment procedures in line with regulations; step up communication efforts to build public consensus and support for land clearance; and keep reviewing and selecting school sites that ensure the most convenient access for students, in line with the overall planning and the construction of new commune headquarters. These efforts, he stressed, will help advance local infrastructure development.
