The project, which stretches 8.34 kilometers, has a total investment of 500 billion VND (19.33 million USD). A total of 481 households, organisations, and individuals are affected by the road construction. To date, compensation, support, and resettlement plans have been approved for 328 households, with over 102 billion VND allocated. Approximately 50% of total workload has been completed.

After the inspection, Khanh requested Mai Son district focus on urging the contractor to increase manpower, machinery, and equipment to speed up construction progress. He said appraisal and acceptance of completed works must be conducted and land clearance be expedited.
He also directed the People's Committees of Hat Lot town and Co Noi commune to review and verify the land origin of the remaining 21 households. The district should continue to persuade households with approved compensation to receive their payments. For those who refuse to comply with land recovery decisions and compensation plans, enforcement measures should be considered.
The provincial Party chief also asked the provincial People's Committee to allocate funding in the 2025 plan to enable Mai Son district to compensate affected households following the approval of compensation and resettlement plans.
