The delegation inspected the construction progress of the Chieng Khoong Primary-Secondary Boarding School. Built on a 4.9-hectare site, the project has a total investment of about 150 billion VND (5.77 million USD), and includes classrooms, an administrative block, student dormitories and a canteen, staff housing, a multi-purpose and physical education facility, along with auxiliary, technical and infrastructure works. The school is designed to accommodate around 1,500 students.

Site clearance has largely been completed, with advance compensation payments reaching about 70% under a publicly disclosed plan. The contractor is mobilising resources to build the main structures and several auxiliary facilities, aiming to complete the project on schedule and bring it into use soon to meet local students’ learning needs.

The provincial Party Committee Secretary urged the project investor, relevant departments and local authorities to strengthen coordination and step up oversight to accelerate construction progress, make the most of favourable weather conditions to carry out works in a coordinated and efficient manner, ensure construction quality, strictly comply with regulations on investment and construction, quality management, occupational safety and environmental protection, and promptly address any issues arising during implementation.

Provincial Party leaders review production operations at the Quyet Tien Tuynel Brick Factory.

The delegation also inspected operations at the Quyet Tien Tuynel Brick Factory in Song Ma commune. The factory has invested in an integrated production line and is gradually modernising its technology, operating stably while meeting technical and environmental requirements for building materials production. With a designed capacity of 15 million bricks a year, the factory maintained steady output in 2025, with estimated revenue of 21.7 billion VND, and contributed nearly 700 million VND to the state budget. The factory currently employs around 60 local labourers, with average monthly incomes of 7–9 million VND.

Secretary Nghiem acknowledged the factory’s achievements in production and business, as well as its role in creating jobs for local labourers, while urging the factory to study plans to expand its scale and improve product quality to meet province-wide construction demand, particularly the supply of building materials for key projects in the Song Ma area, thus contributing more to the state budget and helping drive local economic growth.
