Provincial Party official extends New Year wishes to Quynh Nhai district

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Lo Minh Hung and a working delegation from the province on January 14 visited Quynh Nhai district to inspect the situation and provide gifts to policy beneficiary families, and poor households in Nam Et and Muong Sai communes on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025.

At the communes, Hung and the delegation were briefed on the socio-economic development, national defence, security, new-style rural development, and the efforts to care for the poor during the Tet holiday 2025.

Hung praised the efforts and achievements of both communes in socio-economic development, poverty reduction, and particularly in building new-style rural areas. He urged the Party committees and authorities of the two communes to continue leading production development to improve the people's income, and to maintain and enhance the criteria for new-style rural areas.

He also recommended that Quynh Nhai district focus on supporting and caring for locals, ensuring they can enjoy a happy and joyful Tet holiday. The official emphasised organizing safe and cheerful activities for the festival, while continuing to effectively implement programmes on socio-economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, and removal of temporary housing. The goal is to fulfill the criteria to turn Quynh Nhai a new-style rural district by 2025.

On this occasion, the working delegation presented 46 gifts to poor households and policy beneficiary families in the two communes.
