Provincial Party official presents Tet gifts in Chieng Sai commune

Luong Thi Van Anh, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and head of the committee’s Internal Affairs Board, together with a provincial working delegation, visited Chieng Sai commune to inspect the situation and present Lunar New Year (Tet) gifts.

In 2025, Chieng Sai commune focused on leadership and direction to comprehensively implement socio-economic development tasks. Transport infrastructure projects were invested in, contributing to improved living and production conditions for local people and gradually changing the rural landscape of this remote and mountainous area.

The commune developed plans to organise activities celebrating the Party and Spring, care for the poor and policy-beneficiary households during Tet, and ensure political security and social order and safety before, during, and after the Lunar New Year. It also placed strong emphasis on preparations for the elections of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.

Speaking at the working session, Van Anh requested that Chieng Sai continue to focus on implementing key tasks in 2026; step up communication and advocacy to encourage residents to strictly comply with legal regulations on fire and explosion prevention, traffic safety, and food safety; maintain security and order; and mobilise social resources to care for poor households and policy beneficiaries during Tet. She urged closely following higher-level guiding documents to thoroughly prepare for election work, ensuring progress and compliance with regulations, and maintaining security and order before, during, and after the elections, with no unexpected incidents.
