Provincial People's Council members meet voters in Mai Son district

A delegation of Son La provincial People’s Council members on June 18 met with voters in Muong Bang, Chieng Mung, and Muong Bon communes of Mai Son district, ahead of the 11th session of the 15th council for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Local voters were briefed on the outcomes of the 27th to 31st thematic sessions of the council, as well as the expected agenda, timing, and venue of the upcoming 11th session.

Voters in Muong Bang commune proposed an adjustment to the rental price for 5% public land, citing that the current rates are too high given that most of the land is sloped and degraded. They also called for the upgrade of three power transformer stations in Phang Hum Co hamlet.

Meanwhile, voters in Chieng Mung commune requested the construction and reinforcement of an irrigation canal running from Na San hamlet to Na Si hamlet in Hat Lot commune, with a total length of about 1.5 kilometres.

Leaders of Mai Son district and council members acknowledged and addressed voters’ opinions and recommendations within their jurisdiction. They also noted the remaining proposals to forward them to relevant authorities for review and resolution in accordance with regulations.
