Provincial Vice Chairman inspects elimination of substandard houses in Muoi Noi commune

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dang Ngoc Hau on February 4 inspected the implementation of a programme to eliminate newly arising temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 in Muoi Noi commune. The inspection trip was joined by leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.

The commune People’s Committee reported that there are seven households in the commune receiving housing support under the Target Progarmme on Sustainable Poverty Reduction (including five newly built houses and two renovated ones). So far, construction has commenced on all seven houses; among them, one renovated house has been completed 100%, while six others have reached 90% completion and are expected to be fully completed before the Lunar New Year 2026.

During the inspection, the Vice Chairman highly appreciated the efforts of Muoi Noi in implementing the programme in 2025. At the same time, he requested that the commune continue to pay attention to, encourage, and support households in accelerating construction progress, ensuring completion before the Lunar New Year 2026 so that families can celebrate the holiday in new homes.

In the coming time, the commune is also expected to focus on supporting household members in finding jobs and securing stable incomes, helping them rise out of poverty in a sustainable manner.
