In Me Bon, sudden flooding inundated many households. Numerous families had to stay up all night to urgently evacuate property to safe places.
According to a quick report from the communal Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, the heavy rain and flooding brought mud and sand into the homes of around 20 households.
The floodwaters swept away rice, grain, motorbikes, rice milling machines, and submerged hectares of rice, corn, and other crops. Local police and military forces have relocated residents living in high-risk landslide areas to safe locations.

After the field inspection, Vice Chairman Cong directed Song Ma commune to mobilise all available resources to help residents move their belongings to safe areas, arrange temporary shelters for affected households, install warning signs and barricades in dangerous areas, and proactively implement response measures to help people stabilise their lives as soon as possible.
