Provincial Vice Chairman inspects high school graduation exam preparations in Mai Son district

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Hong Minh, who is head of the provincial Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, on June 16 led a delegation to inspect the preparations for the exam in Mai Son district.

For the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Mai Son district has four exam sites located at four high schools: Mai Son High School, Co Noi High School, Chu Van Thinh High School, and Mai Son Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities. A total of 1,606 students have registered to take the exam, with 77 examination rooms.

To date, the district has made good preparations regarding the facilities for the exam. It has developed plans for the safekeeping of exam papers and answer sheets, ensuring security and order. It has also ensured conditions for electricity, water, communication, food safety, and traffic safety; and prepared contingency plans to support candidates in emergencies such as natural disasters, floods, landslides, and epidemics. The district also has plans to assist students living far from exam sites and those with difficult circumstances.

Youth unions at the schools have established "Supporting the Exam Season" volunteer teams to assist students during the exam. They have prepared transportation means and stayed ready to help find and transport candidates to exam sites if they encounter issues due to natural disasters, floods, or landslides. For students living far from exam sites, the schools have requested them stay in the boarding area during their revision and examination period.

At the exam sites, Minh requested that Mai Son district have contingency plans in place to deal with unfavourable weather conditions during the exam days. He also emphasised the need to ensure traffic safety, security, and food hygiene and safety so that the exam can proceed safely, seriously, and in compliance with regulations, thus achieving high results.
