Role models in "All People Protect National Security" movement commended

The department for building the movement to protect national security under the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Son La provincial Department of Public Security, held a conference on May 27 to review, evaluate, and commend outstanding models and individuals in building the “All People Protect National Security” movement and in mass mobilisation efforts of the Son La police force.

An overview of the conference.

In recent years, the provincial Department of Public Security has consistently focused on directing and strengthening model-building efforts to ensure security and order in implementing new-style rural development, the "All People Protect National Security" movement, and mass mobilisation within the local police force.

As of May 1, the province had established 80 models of the “All People Protect National Security” movement across various agencies, units, and localities. It had developed and maintained 50 “Smart Mass Mobilisation” models in different sectors. Since 2021, these models have helped raise over 40 billion VND (1.5 million USD) through donations and mobilisation efforts. The police force has conducted hundreds of deployments to local areas to assist people in socio-economic development and has taken care of and supported 34 disadvantaged children, gradually helping them stabilise their lives. These efforts have significantly contributed to building a positive image of the Son La police force in the hearts of the people.
