The draft history book is structured into five chapters with Chapter I covering the Party Committee of civil and political agencies in the province during the resistance war against the U.S. imperialists (1965–1975). Meanwhile, Chapter II focuses on the Party Committee during the period of post-war recovery, socio-economic development, and national defence (1976–1985). Chapter III highlights the Party Committee’s leadership in the early stage of the Doi Moi (renewal) process (1986–1995). Chapter IV outlines the roles of the Party Committees of civil and political agencies and of enterprises in Son La province during the early phase of industrialisation, modernisation, and international integration (1996–2010). Chapter V details the Party Committee of agencies and enterprises in the province during the period of accelerating industrialisation and modernisation in agriculture and rural areas (2011–2025). The book concludes with key takeaways and lessons learned.

The delegates discussed and generally agreed with the content of the draft history book. They said its structure is clearly organised by chapters and sections, and the method of event synthesis aligns well with the Party history research approach and the practical context of the Party Committee of agencies and enterprises in the province during the 1965–2025 period. The presentation effectively highlights the leadership and direction of the Party organisation as well as the major achievements across various sectors over the past 60 years.
