After nine months of implementing Resolution No. 57‑NQ/TW of the Politburo and four years of carrying out Resolution No. 17‑NQ/TU of the provincial Committee’s Standing Board, digital transformation efforts in the province have achieved many positive results. Awareness among authorities at all levels, sectors, officials, Party members, businesses, and citizens has markedly increased. The province has issued synchronised programmes and plans translating digital transformation goals into actions through 2030, building a clear roadmap for each year and phase.
Digital government continues to be built on the foundation of e‑government, contributing to modernising administration and enhancing public service efficiency. Currently, over 97% of administrative documents are digitally signed and issued electronically. The system for handling administrative procedures is connected with the National Public Service Portal and the National Population Database; and the rate of online application reception exceeds 90%.

Over 97% of businesses are filing and paying taxes electronically. Many enterprises, cooperatives, and business households have adopted information technology in production, quality management, and product marketing.
In the digital society domain, broadband mobile 4G coverage in communes exceeds 96%. More than 680,000 people in the province have activated VNeID digital identification accounts at levels 1 or 2, becoming a core force in the digital transformation process. The emulation movement “Digital Transformation of Son La province in 2021-2025” has spread widely, contributing momentum to fulfilling the local government's political tasks effectively.

In his remarks, Chairman Viet emphasised that digital transformation, administrative reform, development of science and technology, and innovation are pillars that contribute to strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and create new momentum for socio‑economic development in Son La in the coming period.
He urged members of the Steering Committee, heads of departments, sectors, and localities to urgently review their assigned tasks and targets; evaluate and analyze any items with risks of non-completion, identify causes, and propose solutions in Q4/2025 and thereafter.
Leaders of agencies, units, and localities should launch and actively embrace the emulation movement “Son La: Innovate & Digitize”, actively take part in the “Digital Learning” and “Digital Literacy” movements, promote learning on digital platforms to continually raise awareness, digital skills, and capacity, thereby contributing to comprehensive innovation and digital transformation across the province.
