Son La attends first Autumn Fair 2025 in Hanoi

Son La province is showcasing its outstanding products at the first Autumn Fair 2025, which opened at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi on October 25 evening.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and delivered remarks at the opening ceremony of the fair, themed “Connecting the People with Production and Business.”

The opening ceremony was also attended by representatives from ministries, sectors, and provinces across the country. Representing Son La province were Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

The first Autumn Fair 2025, taking place from October 25 to November 4, is a national-scale economic and cultural event. The fair is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as the lead agency, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People’s Committee, and other ministries, sectors, and localities.

Featuring a large-scale setup, the fair covers more than 130,000 square meters of exhibition space, divided into five zones with over 3,000 booths. The event gathers participants from 34 provinces and cities, various ministries and sectors, as well as thousands of enterprises, cooperatives, and major Vietnamese corporations. It also attracts a significant number of international businesses and partners for display, trade promotion, and cooperation opportunities.

This fair is considered a key event of 2025, contributing to the implementation of the Government’s policy on promoting domestic trade, boosting production, business, imports, and exports, and enhancing the national image and the “Vietnamese goods” brand. It is expected to become a highlight in the country’s series of economic and trade promotion events for 2025.

Participating in the fair, Son La province has been allocated a 200-square-meter booth to showcase and promote its signature local products, OCOP (One Commune One Product) items, and clean agricultural produce, including coffee, tea, and other processed goods.

Through this event, Son La aims to introduce its distinctive agricultural products and rich ethnic culture to visitors from across the country, thereby expanding market opportunities, promoting agricultural trade, and developing tourism linkages connecting Son La with other provinces nationwide.
