Son La e-newspaper has new interface, specialised pages

Son La newspaper on October 9 launched the new interface and specialised pages of its e-newspaper in English language, and Thai and Mong ethnic languages.

The new interface and specialised pages of Son La e-newspaper are launched.

Son La e-newspaper, formerly the website of Son La newspaper, was put into operation in February 2006. In August 2016, Son La newspaper was licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications to upgrade it to an e-newspaper at https://www.baosonla.org.vn and https://www.baosonla.com.vn.

In 2022, the provincial Party Committee invested in implementing a project on upgrading the Son La e-newspaper. With modern technology applied, and the quality of contents and forms improved, the e-newspaper vividly reflects various activities of social life, regularly renews information, and enriches specialised pages and columns to ensure information get updated around the clock.

With the aim of providing information for more readers, Son La e-newspaper continues to open three specialised pages in English language, and Thai and Mong ethnic languages. The three pages have been licensed by the Press Department under the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The English-language page has the domain name of en.baosonla.org.vn, including seven columns of News-politics, Foreign Affair, Business, Society, Tourism, Sports, and Culture. It aims to introduce Son La’s potential and advantages to the world, attract investment, promote agricultural products and tourism, and spread the image of a dynamic, innovative, friendly and hospitable Son La to international friends, thus contributing to the nation’s international integration.

Meanwhile, the Thai ethnic language page has the domain name of tt.baosonla.org.vn, and that in Mong ethnic language is found at tm.baosonla.org.vn. Both have six columns: News-politics, Business, Society, Tourism, Sports and Culture. They offer up-to-date news and vivid images rich in cultural identities of Son La ethnic people.

Maintaining its principles, Son La newspaper continues to become a mainstream and reliable information channel for readers inside and outside the province, contributing effectively to the Party's revolutionary cause. It is truly the mouthpiece of the provincial Party Committee and authorities, as well as a trusted forum of Son La ethnic groups.
