Son La holds Workers' Sports Festival 2025

The Son La provincial Federation of Labour held the opening ceremony of the Workers’ Sports Festival 2025 on June 7. The event features the participation of 18 teams with a total of 288 athletes who are officials, workers, and employees from various agencies, units, and enterprises across the province.

 

The organising committee presents commemorative flags to the participating units.

The festival takes place from June 7-8 at the provincial Sports Training and Competition Centre. Athletes compete in four sports: soft volleyball, relay running, tug of war, and pickleball. The competitions are organised in a round-robin format to calculate points, with the top teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals and finals.

Right after the opening ceremony, the competitions began in an enthusiastic atmosphere, drawing strong support from a large number of spectators. The athletes competed with passion and energy, contributing to the promotion of sports activities and the improvement of health among the workforce.
