The Truong Sa 571 vessel returned Mission No. 20 to the Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province on May 16. The mission included nearly 200 representatives from central government agencies, ministries, departments, and sectors, as well as from Son La province and businesses nationwide.

Mission No. 20 offers encouragement to officers, soldiers, and residents on Sinh Ton island, Truong Sa district.
During the seven-day journey, the mission visited key locations in the archipelago, including Song Tu Tay, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Da Dong B, Da Tay A, Truong Sa, and DKI/18 platform.
At each destination, they organized a variety of meaningful activities. Among those were a flag-raising ceremony on Truong Sa island, a memorial incense offering at the Martyrs' Monument and the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in Truong Sa town, a ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives defending Vietnam's maritime sovereignty in the Truong Sa archipelago, as well as visits and incense offerings at various spiritual and cultural sites across the islands.


The mission also met with, encouraged, and offered practical gifts to officers, soldiers, and residents on the islands. These gifts included equipment, essential supplies, medical materials, and books.

In addition, art exchanges between the mission and island forces were held. These activities not only enhanced the spiritual life of the officers and soldiers but also helped reinforce their unwavering faith in their duties on the frontlines.

During the trip, the Son La delegation donated 700 million VND (26,972 USD) to the Vietnam People's Navy to build a CQ-01 patrol boat, and also presented gifts to the soldiers and residents on the Truong Sa islands and DK1 platform.
