Son La leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on National Day

In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025), Son La province’s leaders on August 29 offered flowers at the monument “President Ho Chi Minh and the Ethnic Groups of the Northwest” and incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Temple in Tay Bac Square.

Attending the tribute ceremony were Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and head of the Delegation to the National Assembly; among others.

At the monument and the temple, provincial leaders expressed deep respect and profound gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions, calling him as the great and visionary leader of the Vietnamese revolution, a distinguished figure in the international communist and workers’ movements, and an eminent cultural man.

The Party, government, and people of Son La vowed to remain united under the Party’s leadership, firmly safeguard the nation’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and build a prosperous, strong, democratic, just, and civilised Vietnam. They reaffirmed their commitment to following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals, and lifestyle, maintaining political resolve, overcoming all challenges, and fulfilling all assigned missions to contribute to the continued development of both the province and the nation.

Also on the August 29 morning, members of the Son La provincial Youth Union offered incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Temple. On this significant occasion, the youth of Son La expressed their heartfelt gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s lifelong dedication to the cause of national liberation.

They pledged to uphold the revolutionary legacy, stay true to the path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, and continue to study and embody his ideology, ethics, and style.

The youth reaffirmed their commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community service, strengthening the spirit of volunteerism and contributing to the sustainable development of Son La province.
