Alongside youth union organisations nationwide, young people from Son La’s ethnic communities have increasingly asserted the role of the union across multiple fields. In recent years, youth union work and youth movements in the province have closely followed political tasks and local realities, continuously renewing content and methods while focusing on educating young people about revolutionary ideals, ethics and cultural values. Efforts have also been made to promote the proactiveness, creativity and pioneering spirit of youth union members in contributing to local socio-economic development, engaging in community volunteer activities and serving national defence.
