According to the council’s report, Son La has no candidates for the title of “People’s Teacher” in this round, while 52 educators have been proposed for the “Meritorious Teacher” title. Participants discussed several issues related to eligibility criteria for each candidate, particularly supporting documentation and achievements required for recognition.

Following a vote, 44 of the 52 educators secured unanimous backing from council members for submission to competent authorities for recognition as “Meritorious Teachers,” while eight fell short of nomination criteria. Those put forward are exemplary educators with strong morality and dedication, notable contributions to teaching, research and education management, helping drive the development of the province’s education and training sector.
