The delegation was received by Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, Viet extended his deep sympathy and solidarity with Thai Nguyen over the storm damage. With the spirit of "mutual support and solidarity," the Party Organisation, authorities, and people of Son La province hope to help the people of Thai Nguyen soon overcome the disaster's aftermath, stabilise their lives and production, and continue sustainable and strong development.

Son provided a brief update on the damage and the disaster recovery efforts in Thai Nguyen province. Immediately after the floodwaters receded, the province launched comprehensive recovery measures, with effective coordination among local forces and residents.

In response to the damage caused by the typhoon, the Party, the Government, central agencies, and provinces and cities nationwide have come together to support and share with the people of Thai Nguyen in overcoming difficulties and stabilising life.

On behalf of the Party Organisation, authorities, and people of Thai Nguyen, Son expressed his sincere thanks for the valuable support and affection from Son La province. He affirmed that the funding would be used promptly and for the right purposes to support residents in affected areas.

The support from localities, including Son La, not only contributes to helping Thai Nguyen recover after the storm but also demonstrates the spirit of unity and solidarity among provinces and cities across the country, he noted.
