In 2023, a total of 285 billion VND (12 million USD is allocated for implementing the rural electricity supply program in Son La province, which aims to supply electricity to 4,395 households and upgrade electricity supply to 5,118 households.

Up to now, contractors have been selected to carry out four bidding packages for materials and equipment supply and construction in Muong La, Thuan Chau and Mai Son districts. The province is preparing documents and selecting supervision consultants for two other bidding packages in Mai Son district.

Son La will focus on removing difficulties and obstacles and urging contractors to speed up the implementation of construction bidding packages in Yen Chau, Mai Son, Muong La and Thuan Chau districts. By the end of June, nearly 61.8 billion VND (2.6 million USD) had been disbursed.

In the coming time, Son La province will continue to well implement the integration of capital sources for national target programs and speed up site clearance compensation, ensuring the project is completed on schedule.

It will strengthen inspection and supervision as well as promote communications to encourage people to donate land for site clearance, creating conditions for construction units to implement the projects.
