The first project aims to develop a synchronised and modern residential area within the overall master plan of the former Son La city Administrative–Political Centre and to complete urban development criteria for upgrading it to a Grade II urban area in accordance with the Resolution of the provincial Party Committee.

It also involves relocating the radio transmission centre to a new site to ensure improved broadcasting coverage for the area, while maintaining architectural harmony within the administrative–political centre. In addition, revenue generated from land-use right auctions within the project area will be used to invest in Phase I of the Mai Son Industrial Park project.

A leader of the Department of Finance speaks at the working session.

To date, land clearance has been carried out and the investor has received 7.56 hectares. The remaining 3.5 hectares have yet to be cleared, involving 104 households and two organisations.

In terms of infrastructure construction, the radio transmission station has been completed and handed over to Son La Newspaper and Radio–Television Station for operation and use.

in expediting the land handover to the provincial People’s Procuracy. This includes reviewing procedures for transferring public assets on the land to resolve existing issues.
