Song Ma’s substandard house removal inspected

Trang Thi Xuan, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee, and head of Inspection Team No. 2 of the provincial Steering Committee for the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, inspected this work in Song Ma district on April 2.

In 2025, the district has 96 households eligible for support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses, including 51 households with new house construction and 45 with home repairs. These households are either revolutionary contributors, poor households, or families in difficult circumstances. To date, Song Ma has completed 48 out of 51 new houses, with three still under construction. Additionally, all 45 households has had their houses repaired. The district expects to complete the programme by April 30.

During the inspection, Xuan praised the efforts and determination of Song Ma district in implementing the programme. She requested the district Party Committee and government continue to stay closely connected with the grassroots level to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and promptly provide solutions to support families of revolutionary contributors, poor households, and those in particularly difficult situations in completing their homes.

Furthermore, she urged the continued monitoring, supervision, and provision of funding to ensure that construction is carried out on schedule and the quality is guaranteed.
