At each inspection site, local leaders and unit commanders reported on the security and order situation in the border areas, and proposed locations for new border guard stations. Overall, the territorial sovereignty, border security, political stability, and social order and safety in the areas have been maintained. The system of border lines, markers, and related infrastructure along the border have been well managed and protected. Party committees and unit commanders have regularly conducted drills for on-site defence plans and maintain combat readiness to protect the border.

Border guard stations have closely coordinated with local authorities to enhance the dissemination of the Party's policies and the State’s laws to residents. They have strictly maintained duty schedules, intensified border management and protection activities, and stood ready to carry out disaster prevention and search-and-rescue missions. They have also participated in grassroots political system development and assisted locals in socio-economic development. Regular information exchanges with Lao border management and protection forces have been maintained to ensure proper management and protection of the border and markers.
