Standing Vice President of provincial VFF Committee inspects election preparations in five communes

Nguyen Manh Hung, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Standing Vice President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, on March 14 inspected preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Thuan Chau, Nam Lau, Long He, Muong Bam, and Co Ma communes.

At the inspection sites, leaders of the communes reported on preparations for the election. So far, local authorities have implemented a range of coordinated measures to ensure all conditions for the election are met in accordance with regulations. Communication activities have been widely carried out in hamlets and residential areas so that voters clearly understand the time, location, and procedures for voting.

Polling stations have completed the public posting of voter lists, as well as the lists and brief biographies of candidates in accordance with regulations. Decoration, ceremonial arrangements, and facilities at polling stations have been carefully prepared. Police forces are closely monitoring the situation in the localities and proactively implementing plans to ensure security and order before, during, and after election day.

The Standing Vice President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested local authorities to proactively grasp the situation in their areas, ensure security and order, and promptly handle any arising situations, thereby creating favourable conditions for voters to exercise their rights and civic responsibilities. This will contribute to successfully organising the election in a democratic, lawful, and safe manner, truly making it a festival of the people.
