Tet gifts come to Yen Chau, Chieng Hac, Long Phieng communes, armed forces units

Luong Thi Van Anh, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and head of the committee’s Internal Affairs Board, on February 5 reviewed the situation, visited, presented gifts, and extended Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings in Yen Chau, Chieng Hac, and Long Phieng communes; the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Team of the Yen Chau area; and the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Station.

At the visited communes, local leaders reported on socio-economic development, national defense and security, and preparations for the Lunar New Year 2026. Accordingly, the Standing Boards of the communal Party Committees had developed plans to organise Tet activities in a joyful, healthy, safe, and economical manner; implemented measures to ensure security and order before, during, and after Tet; and paid attention to visiting and presenting gifts to social protection beneficiaries, policy beneficiary families, and people in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the communes, Van Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in recent times. She requested the communes to continue caring for poor households and policy beneficiary families during Tet; organise spring and Tet activities in a safe and economical manner; strengthen drug prevention and control, fire and explosion prevention, and ensure traffic safety. 

She also urged the communes to proactively prepare necessary conditions for the elections of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, enhance communication and awareness-raising, and ensure security and order so that the elections are conducted democratically, lawfully, and safely.

Visiting and presenting Tet gifts to the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Station and the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Team of the Yen Chau area, she wished officers and soldiers good health, unity, and successful task fulfillment. She requested the units to develop plans to strictly maintain duty rosters and combat readiness before, during, and after the Lunar New Year; effectively carry out fire and explosion prevention; strictly maintain combat readiness, firmly safeguard national sovereignty and border security, and contribute to maintaining peace and safety so that the people can enjoy a safe and joyful spring festival.
