Tet reunion programme 2026 held in Moc Chau

Former Politburo member, former Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong, together with leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, presented gifts to union members and workers of the Moc Chau Urban Branch of Son La Urban Environment and Services JSC on February 8, within the framework of the “Tet Sum Vay – Xuan on Dang” Programme 2026 organised by the Son La provincial Federation of Labour.

The Moc Chau Urban Branch currently has more than 60 staff and workers responsible for waste collection and transport, maintenance of public lighting, and ensuring urban sanitation and aesthetics. Despite demanding working conditions, the collective has remained dedicated and responsible, making practical contributions to the sustainable development of Moc Chau.

At the event, Phong and the delegation presented 20 gift packages to union members and workers of the Moc Chau Urban Branch facing difficult circumstances, serious illnesses, work-related accidents, or occupational diseases.

Phong expressed sympathy for the difficulties faced by urban environmental workers, while acknowledging and praising their quiet contributions to maintaining a green, clean, and beautiful environment. She called on trade unions, Party committees, and local authorities to continue paying attention to workers’ welfare and fully implementing policies so that they can enjoy a warm and joyful Lunar New Year.
