
Thuan Chau consists of 27 communes and a town. In recent years, labour and employment matters have received great attention from local authorities. Numerous socio-economic programmes, projects, and development plans have been effectively implemented, attracting business investment to the district.
Currently, Thuan Chau has 95,190 people of working age, including 66 individuals working abroad under contract, 14,870 working outside the province, and 76,802 working within the province. As many as 35 people have a demand for overseas employment in 2025.

During the session, a representative of Hanoi-based Tourist, Trade and Labour Export JSC provided an overview of the company’s establishment and operations, as well as information about labour recruitment needs in countries such as Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Qatar. The available jobs include manufacturing, construction, nursing, welding, garment, agriculture, food processing, electronics, mechanics, fisheries, and seafood processing. The company also outlined policies supporting language and vocational training in the locality, along with assistance in procedures for obtaining loans to cover departure costs.
Immediately following the meeting with the district authorities, the company plans to organise a series of on-site conferences in communes and town across the district to directly introduce their overseas labour programmes to the locals.
