Van Ho district’s General Hospital to be put into use

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Hong Minh on May 9 inspected the preparations for the inauguration of the Van Ho district General Hospital.

The hospital project is invested by the district People's Committee, with a total investment of 261 billion VND (10.05 million USD) from the fund of the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Programme and the additional capital from the provincial budget.

The project was carried out in the 2022-2025 period, with Phase 1 including a building for outpatient examination, and technical and administrative services; the inpatient treatment department No. 1; the infection control department and auxiliary items. To date, the first phase has been completed.

For the package of supplying and installing medical equipment and other equipment, six out of the eight contractor consortiums have completed the supply of equipment for the project; while the remaining two are expected to finish before May 12.

Minh assigned Van Ho district to direct the district project management unit and contractors to urgently complete the installation of medical equipment, and prepare for the inauguration and handover for operation on the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2025).
