
The district General Hospital project has so far completed the three-storey administrative building, the five-storey inpatient ward, site leveling, and stone embankment construction. The infectious diseases ward has been approved for additional design modifications, along with auxiliary structures and technical infrastructure. The procurement and installation of medical equipment and other essential facilities are ongoing, with 90% of the allocated budget disbursed.
For the solid waste disposal and landfill project, landfill cells No. 2 and 3 have been nearly completed, along with auxiliary zones, the waste treatment area, drainage system, waste treatment technology components, operations building, sludge drying yard, processing facility roofing, clean water reservoir, and the general power supply and lighting system. Several other items are still in progress. However, challenges have arisen, particularly in design, appraisal, and approval processes, requiring adjustments, which have led to delays in project implementation.
Regarding the hospital project, Minh directed contractors to expedite the construction, conduct industrial cleaning, enhance the campus and surrounding environment, and finalise additional necessary components. The district authorities were asked to ensure fire safety and environmental compliance before putting the hospital into operation.
For the solid waste disposal and landfill project, he emphasised the need to accelerate environmental approval procedures and complete all auxiliary infrastructure to ensure the facility becomes operational as soon as possible.
