The road project has a total investment of 500 billion VND (19.57 million USD), with a total length of 8.34 km, divided into four sections. A total of 481 households, organisations, and individuals are affected by the construction. To date, 36 compensation, support, and resettlement plans have been approved for 318 out of 481 households and individuals. Currently, the contractor is making embankments, installing stormwater and wastewater drainage systems in sections 1 and 2, as well as completing the road framework. The total completed workload reached approximately 45% of the plan.

Regarding investment attraction, the district People's Committee has coordinated with provincial departments and agencies to inspect and appraise investment attraction applications in compliance with regulations, creating favourable conditions for investors to soon get in-principle approvals from the provincial People's Committee. In 2024, the district participated in the appraisal of six new investment projects and seven adjusted projects, with a total registered investment capital of over 2.24 trillion VND (87.7 million USD).

Minh asked Mai Son to coordinate with provincial departments and agencies to focus on urging the contractor to accelerate construction progress and site clearance. The district should continue to persuade households to accept compensation payments for site clearance, he said, adding it should continue to review, update, and supplement the list of investment projects in the district until 2030.
