Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee works in Mai Son district

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Hong Minh on May 27 inspected the progress of the road project from Sub-area 26/3 in Co Noi commune to Sub-area 10 in Hat Lot commune. He also held a working session with Mai Son district leaders regarding state budget collection and public investment disbursement.

The 8.34km project has a total investment of 500 billion VND (19.3 million USD), affecting 481 households, organisations, and individuals.

To date, compensation, support, and resettlement plans have been approved for 329 households, with a total amount of over 103 billion VND. Construction progress has reached approximately 55% of the total workload.

After the field inspection, Minh requested Mai Son district to urge contractors to increase manpower and equipment to accelerate the road construction progress. He also emphasised the need to organise acceptance of completed work volumes and recover advanced investment capital.

The district was directed to expedite site clearance efforts, review eligible households, and promptly prepare and publicly disclose compensation plans.

Regarding state budget collection and public investment disbursement, the official called for continued implementation of solutions for tax collection, debt management, and enforcement of tax debt recovery. He stressed the importance of strictly and effectively carrying out tasks and solutions to ensure the timely and decisive disbursement of public investment funds in 2025.
