Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visits Son La province

Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan led a delegation to pay a working visit to Son La province on December 20.

Welcoming the delegation were Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies; Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; Le Hong Minh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; among others.

They promised to promote the nation's precious traditions and stay united in well implementing social security policies, demonstrating the attention of the Party, the State and the entire political system to taking good care of the material and spiritual lives of the people, especially ensuring conditions for the residents to enjoy a warm and happy Lunar New Year (Tet) with the goal “everyone has Tet and no one is left behind”.

Immediately after offering incense at Uncle Ho's Temple at Tay Bac Square, the Vice President and her entourage visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Doan Thi Diep in group 10, Quyet Thang ward, Son La city and war invalid Cam Chi Kien in group 7, To Hieu ward, Son La city. The Vice President expressed her deep gratitude to the great contributions of wounded and sick soldiers, as well as people who rendered service to the nation and policy beneficiary families to the struggle for national independence.

The Vice President wished that families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and policies and State laws, be dynamic in economic development, and be exemplary in daily life for future generations to follow.
