Winners of 9th provincial Technical Innovation Contest honoured

The organising committee of the 9th provincial Technical Innovation Contest held an award ceremony on December 3, with Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the committee Nguyen Thanh Cong attending.

The organisers received 36 solutions spanning various sectors from 74 authors and co-authors representing 36 agencies and units across the province. After evaluation, 22 solutions were awarded prizes, comprising two first, three second, five third, and 12 consolation prizes. Among them, 10 were selected to represent Son La at the 18th National Technical Innovation Contest (2024–2025).

Addressing the event, Cong called on all sectors to foster relevant emulation movements, and the winners to continue their research and develop high-quality technical solutions with significant scientific and practical values. He suggested a focus on agriculture, health care, and renewable energy.

On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee presented the certificates of merit to the first-prize winners; the provincial Federation of Labour to the second-prize winners, and the provincial Youth Union and the provincial Association of Promoting Education to the third-prize winners.

Besides, five collectives and five individuals with outstanding achievements in the contest were also honoured.

On this occasion, the organising committee launched the 10th edition of the contest in 2026.
