Workplace voters’ opinions on proposed nominees for NA, provincial People’s Council collected

The provincial Party Committee Office on January 14 held a conference to collect opinions from voters at the workplace on proposed candidates for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the provincial People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term.

At the event, voters were briefed on the standards and eligibility criteria for NA and provincial People’s Council deputies, along with brief biographies of three officials proposed for nomination to the 16th NA and the provincial People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term.

Accordingly, Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation of NA deputies, was proposed for nomination as a deputy to the 16th NA. Meanwhile, Lo Minh Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, were proposed as candidates for deputies to the provincial People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term.

Voters provided comments on each proposed nominee, affirming that they are exemplary in moral qualities and political steadfastness; possess high professional competence; maintain exemplary, upright lifestyles; and demonstrate strong capacity to concretise and effectively implement the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws. They also show innovative thinking, vision, and scientific working methods; uphold a strong sense of discipline and responsibility; deliver concrete work achievements and outcomes; and enjoy high credibility among the people and voters.

In a democratic spirit and with high consensus, 100% of voters voted to unanimously endorse the nomination of the three officials for the upcoming term of the National Assembly and the provincial People’s Council.

On behalf of the nominees, Secretary Nghiem expressed appreciation for the voters’ recognition and endorsement and for the collective support of the provincial Party Committee Office. He emphasised that the nomination is both a responsibility and an honour, and affirmed that each nominee will continue to uphold wisdom, capacity, political resolve, and a strong sense of responsibility, thus striving to fulfil their assigned duties effectively.
