The centre was established in March 2024 and began operations in November, with 20 staff members and teachers, and 30 children with disabilities from districts and Son La city. During the event, the leaders of the provincial Youth Union and the provincial Vietnam Students' Association presented 30 gift packages, school supplies, and 30 boxes of milk, with a total value of nearly 60 million VND (2,360 USD).

The programme also featured games, dances, and songs, creating a joyful atmosphere to encourage the children to celebrate the upcoming New Year happily.
