Oudomxay Department of Justice delegation visits Son La province

Director of the Department of Justice of Laos’ Oudomxay province Van Si Phuong Ma Lay on May 7 led a delegation to visit Son La province for experience sharing in judicial affairs and civil judgment enforcement. Receiving and working with the delegation were leaders of the Son La Department of Justice and Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency.

The Oudomxay Department of Justice delegation works with Son La province. 

 

During the meeting, leaders of the units from both provinces exchanged information on the functions, duties, organisational structure, and personnel of the Departments of Justice and Civil Judgment Enforcement agencies. They also shared experience in drafting legal normative documents for local governments; notarisation activities in the judicial sector; legal dissemination and education; handling of administrative violations; and legal aid services.

The two sides discussed experience in organising civil judgment enforcement for court judgments and decisions, as well as solutions for applying information technology and digital transformation to improve the effectiveness of judgment enforcement activities. They also exchanged information on handling civil judgment enforcement cases involving citizens residing in Son La and Oudomxay provinces whenever such cases arise.

Leaders of the Son La Department of Justice and Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency, and the Oudomxay Department of Justice sign cooperation agreements in judicial affairs and civil judgment enforcement. 

Leaders of the Son La Department of Justice and Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency, and the Department of Justice of Oudomxay province agreed to sign cooperation agreements and information exchange in judicial affairs and civil judgment enforcement. 

At the same time, the two sides agreed to strengthen education and communication for officials, civil servants, and people in each province regarding the traditional solidarity, special friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general, and between Oudomxay and Son La provinces in particular. 

They also agreed to enhance awareness among judicial and civil judgment enforcement officials and employees about cooperation related to judicial affairs and civil judgment enforcement.
