The programme featured a range of vibrant activities. Delegates and Lao students took part in the thread-tying ceremony, and joined cultural exchanges and art performances rich in Lao cultural identity.

Earlier, the college also organised a traditional Lao costume performance contest, attracting 12 teams and 100 contestants who are Lao students from different classes. The participants delivered impressive and visually striking performances, showcasing a diverse array of traditional costumes rich in cultural colours, accompanied by presentations explaining their beauty and significance. This activity helped the audience gain a deeper understanding of Lao culture.

As part of the Bunpimay celebrations, on April 1, the college launched a “clean and green dormitory” campaign and organised sports competitions such as tug of war, volleyball and sepak takraw, creating a joyful atmosphere.

These activities are organised annually by the college to create a playing ground to strengthen bonds between Lao and Vietnamese students, and contribute to reinforcing the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Son La province and the northern provinces of Laos.
