The working visit takes place from June 25 to 28 with a series of important external affairs activities. The Son La delegation is scheduled to hold talks with leaders of the host localities and sign cooperation agreements for the 2026–2029 period, laying the groundwork for expanded collaboration across a wide range of sectors, including economy, trade, agriculture, education, healthcare, culture, tourism, and national defence and security.
The delegation will also visit several socio-economic development models, cultural and tourism facilities, and projects supported by Son La province. In addition, they will take part in friendship exchange activities and meet with leaders and residents of the Lao localities.
At Tay Trang International Border Gate in Vietnam and Pang Hok International Border Gate in Laos, the Son La delegation presented gifts to officers, soldiers and personnel on duty in the border area.
