The activity formed part of the 22nd conference on cross-border counternarcotics cooperation between Vietnamese and Lao border provinces, hosted by Son La.
The incense-offering ceremony was attended by Vice Chairman of the Son La provincial People's Committee Dang Ngoc Hau; Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of the provincial Department of Public Security; leaders of the Ministry of Public Security's Drug Crime Investigation Police Department and the Border Guard High Command, and representatives of the participating provinces.
