Moc Chau National Tourist Area honoured as top destination in Asia and Vietnam in 2023

The Moc Chau National Tourist Area in Son La province has been honoured as Asia's Leading Regional Natural Destination 2023 and Vietnam's Top Nature Destination 2023 by the World Travel Awards.

Leaders of the Son La provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Moc Chau district receive the awards at the award ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on September 6, 2023.

The awards were presented to the Moc Chau National Tourist Area at the World Travel Awards Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City on September 6.

This is the second consecutive year that the area has received these awards. Last year, it was honoured by the World Travel Awards as Vietnam's Leading Nature Destination 2022, Asia's Leading Regional Nature Destination 2022 and the World’s Leading Nature Destination 2022.

With the dual awards, the Moc Chau National Tourist Area has continued to show the attractiveness of the beautiful highland. The awards also reflect the recognition and honour of the international community towards Moc Chau. This is also the motivation for the Moc Chau National Tourist Area to work harder for tourism development, affirming its position on the world tourism map.

The World Travel Awards are prestigious awards recognized worldwide and likened to the "Oscars of the Travel Industry". The annual awards honor outstanding destinations and quality tourism service providers.
