The district has organised many activities to attract tourists such as Son tra (Hawthorn) flower festival, heritage tree recognition ceremony, new rice celebration in Ngoc Chien commune, and a competition to collect, preserve and promote ethnic identities.

At the same time, it has coordinated with relevant units to organise training courses on tourism development for householders and employees of local tourism businesses; while strengthening inspection of accommodation establishments, hotels, motels, homestays, and cultural service providers and guiding them to well prepare conditions for welcoming tourists.
