It has set up three traditional performing arts troupes in local communes, with 66 members; and opened a training class on "Organising ecotourism and community-based tourism" for 28 participants in Tan Yen commune.

In the time to come, the department will continue to organise training programmes on agricultural and rural tourism development in alignment with new-style rural development goals.

At the same time, it is implementing activities to preserve and promote ethnic cultural values, and providing skill enhancement for tour guides, interpreters, and staff in hospitality operations such as reception, housekeeping, bar, and kitchen services, ensuring the workforce meets the needs of professional and sustainable tourism development.
