The mustard flower garden in Van Ho commune is a popular check-in spot for visitors during the Tet holiday.
As of February 21 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year), the province had received nearly 300,000 tourist arrivals, a 20% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Of these, international visitors reached nearly 1,300, up 50% year-on-year, while domestic visitors exceeded 298,000, up nearly 20%.
Total overnight stays surpassed 135,000, with room occupancy rates at tourist accommodation establishments reaching 85%.
The province’s total tourism revenue was estimated at 360 billion VND (13.86 million USD).

Tourist sites and attractions across communes and wards remained open and organised numerous activities before and during Tet to serve and attract visitors.
These included the Son La Prison special national relic site, the Que Lam Ngu Che Stele - King Le Thai Tong Temple historical complex in To Hieu ward, Nang Han Temple and Linh Son Thuy Tu Temple in Quynh Nhai commune, and the Hang Mieng Temple historical and cultural relic site in Van Ho commune.
At the same time, landscapes and facilities were improved, and staff were arranged to be ready to serve visitors during the Tet holiday.
Moc Chau Island Tourist Area welcomes a large number of visitors during the Tet holiday.
Tourist attractions such as Moc Chau Island, Happy Land, the high-end pine forest resort and entertainment area in Ang hamlet, Moc Chau Walking Street - Night Market, Na Ka plum valley, as well as flower gardens and rose gardens within the Moc Chau National Tourist Area, along with accommodation facilities and homestays, successfully organised tourism activities, attracting a large number of visitors.
