Tourism and hospitality revenue hits nearly 7.38 trillion VND in 8 months

In the first eight months of 2025, total revenue from accommodation, food services, tourism, travel, and other related services in the province reached nearly 7.38 trillion ($279.7 million).

Of which, accommodation and food services accounted for over 3.58 trillion VND, marking a 15.35% increase year-on-year. Travel services generated nearly 23 billion VND, up 16.95%. Other services contributed more than 3.77 trillion, an 8.41% rise compared to the same period last year.

Son La currently has 641 accommodation establishments, including seven hotels rated three stars or higher. The remaining facilities consist of tourist guesthouses, homestays, and other types of tourism accommodations.

The province continues to promote tourism development by enhancing communication, marketing, and investment promotion activities. Accommodation providers, travel agencies, and tourism service facilities have been investing more in infrastructure and improving service quality to better serve visitors.
